Systemic practice has spread beyond the boundaries of family therapy and found meaningful applications in other professions and approaches. The workshop is designed for those who wish to explore systemic thinking and practice as a taster. The presenters will invite participants to apply the ideas to their own work contexts.
Chip Chimera is the Chair of the Postgraduate Certificate in Systemic Practice, Institute of Family Therapy. She has worked for many years in the field of child care and child protection.
Barbara McKay is the Director of the Institute of Family Therapy. She has experience of working in statutory and voluntary sectors.
