3rd and 4th December
This two day advanced training is designed for clinical psychologists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, experienced social workers, children’s guardians and others working in the safeguarding context. Course members are trained in the use of the Safeguarding Assessment and Analysis Framework (SAAF) which provides a systematic, focused and time-efficient model for assessing and analysing the nature and level of harm, the risks of re-abuse/likelihood of future harm and the prospects for successful intervention in safeguarding cases. The SAAF has a robust, evidence-based structure and a range of methods for compiling clinical, core and specialist assessments and reports for the courts in complex safeguarding cases.
