Working systemically with sex and sexual relationships

The aim of this workshop is to offer theoretical and practical ideas for psychotherapists to approach sexual issues in their clinical work. The workshop will introduce participants to resources available within systemic theory and practice to address sexual issues as and when they may arise in variety of clinical situations.

 The presenter will share examples from her psychotherapy practice with individuals and couples and show video recorded material where she integrates her psychosexual expertise within a wider framework of working systemically.

Presenter: Desa Markovic has over 20 years experience in systemic practice as a therapist, supervisor and trainer. She is also a psychosexual therapist and has written, taught and practiced in the context of integrating systemic and psychosexual therapy. She is currently Programme Director for the Psychotherapy and Counselling programme at Regent’s College London.
