Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th October
Reenee Singh and Valeria Ugazio
This workshop is inspired by the findings from a multi-site qualitative European research exploring differences between monocultural and intercultural couples in the framework of the semantic polarities theory (Ugazio 2013). New partnerships generally challenge the worlds of meaning of each partner and require a new semantic scaffolding within which the couple and each partner find new positions. But what happens when the partners belong to completely different cultures?
